NUKL — Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to NUKL (“we”, “us”, “our”). This document contains:

• Privacy Policy — how we collect, use, and protect your data
• Terms of Service — rules and conditions for using the app

By using NUKL, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Definitions

• App / Service — the NUKL mobile application and related services
• User — any person using the App
• Account — a user profile created via supported authentication methods
• Content — information provided by users (profile data, feedback, ratings)
• Match — a sports event listed in the App
• Venue / Field — a location displayed in the App

PART A — PRIVACY POLICY

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Account and authentication data

• Account identifiers from Apple Sign-In and/or Google Sign-In
• Email address and display name (if provided by the authentication provider)
• Internal user ID

3.2 Profile data

• Name, avatar/photo, and optional profile information entered by the user

3.3 Match activity data

• Matches viewed, joined, or left
• Participation status and timestamps related to matches

3.4 Location-related information (manual selection only)

• Country and city selected manually by the user from a supported list
• This is not device-based location data and does not involve GPS or background tracking

3.5 Device and technical data

• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Push notification tokens used to deliver notifications

3.6 Feedback and ratings

• Feedback messages and ratings submitted through the App

4. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

• Create and manage user accounts
• Display matches, venues, and relevant content
• Enable users to join or leave matches
• Send important notifications (match updates, reminders, cancellations)
• Maintain security and prevent abuse
• Improve app functionality and user experience
• Provide user support

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Depending on your location, data is processed based on:

• Performance of a contract (providing the Service)
• Legitimate interests (security, stability, improvement of the Service)
• User consent where required (e.g., notifications)

6. Data Sharing

We share data only as described in this Privacy Policy.

Data may be shared with:

• Service providers acting on our behalf to operate the App
• Authorities where required by law or legal process
• Parties involved in a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or asset sale)

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion

7.1 Account deletion

Users can request account deletion within the App or by contacting support.

After deletion is requested:

• The account is deactivated
• A 30-day retention period is applied for safety and recovery
• After this period, personal data is deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by law

7.2 Backups

Data may remain in encrypted backups for a limited time before being permanently removed.

8. User Controls

• Notifications can be managed in device settings
• Profile information can be edited in the App
• Account deletion can be requested at any time

9. User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Restrict or object to certain processing

10. Children’s Privacy

NUKL is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this document from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by updating the date above.

PART B — TERMS OF SERVICE

13. Eligibility

You must be legally able to use the App under the laws of your jurisdiction.

14. Accounts

• Users are responsible for maintaining access to their accounts
• Providing false or misleading information may result in account restriction or termination

15. Matches and Venues

NUKL provides tools to discover and participate in sports matches.

• Match and venue information may change
• We do not control or guarantee venue conditions or availability
• Participation is voluntary and at your own risk

16. Community Rules

Users must not:

• Harass or abuse others
• Post illegal, offensive, or misleading content
• Attempt to disrupt or misuse the Service
• Violate applicable laws

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

17. User Content

By submitting content (profile data, feedback, ratings), you grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the Service.

18. Payments

NUKL currently does not process payments within the App. Paid features may be introduced in the future, and this document will be updated accordingly.

19. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate third-party services required for authentication, notifications, and infrastructure. Their services are governed by their own policies.

20. Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

21. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

23. Termination

Users may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

24. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United States (Virginia), without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
